Dr. Peter Gould
Dr. Peter Gould
Dr. Gould has a compassion for animals, which is clear in his life and chosen career. He became a vet in 1991 after following an undergraduate degree – Bachelor of Science (honours), with a major in microbiology. He started his career as a relief vet, which saw him work in many practices throughout Ontario, from Sarnia to Thunder Bay, seeing a wide variety of cases. Life on the road kept him away from his family, so in 1997 he, and his wife Gillian, made the decision to build this practice, which has been at the same location since.
Dr. Gould’s other hobbies include motorcycling, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and two poodles.
April has worked as a veterinary technician since 1993, and has appreciated honing her skills since. April has been with Brealey Drive Animal Clinic since 2004 and enjoys her job tremendously. She continues to further her knowledge in veterinary medicine through continued education. She has always worked with animals and cannot see herself doing anything else.
Outside of work she enjoys time with her two children, her horse Sissy, her dogs Nash and Dennis, and cats Miss Mew and Carlos.
Jesse has been working in the veterinary field since 1998, and builds on it with continued education. She has been around veterinary clinics since she was born, observing and working in her father’s veterinary hospital in Langhorne Pennsylvania. Growing up with a vet for a dad, and being around animals her whole life, it came as a natural choice to make caring for animals a career.
Outside of work, Jesse also enjoys spending time on the family farm East of Peterborough, playing with her two dogs – Hammi and Tequila, and her cat Bitsy-BooBoo. During the warmer months she loves taking her Appaloosa horses, Gigi and Floyd, to shows or trail riding.
Rebecca is a recent graduate of St. Lawrence College (2011) with a degree in General Arts and Science (certificate in Veterinary Assistant). She became interested in the field at a young age, growing up on a hobby farm with a variety of animals. In her time at Brealey Drive Animal Clinic she has been keen to learn as much as possible.
She still enjoys spending time on the hobby farm, and spending time with her dogs Ranger and Edge, who are both retired show dogs.
